You can have 1 Account Administrator and 1 Service Administrator, but you can have 200 Co-Administrators per subscription

I agree. If they worded differently such as "multiple administrator accounts" vs. "multiple account administrators"..

This is the correct answers:
Box 1: No -
A subscription can have multiple administrators, but there can only be one "account" administrator.
Box 2: No -
You also need an Azure Active Directory account to manage a subscription.
An account is created in the Azure Active Directory when you create the subscription. Further accounts can be created in the Azure Active Directory to manage the subscription.
Box 3: No -
A subscription can contain multiple resource groups but a resource group can only belong to one subscription. Resource groups can contain multiple resources.
BTW: Same question is asked in #81

In summary, this should be NO|NO|NO
"1" Account Administration per Subscription
You can sign up with Microsoft as well Github account
Resource groups don’t span over multiple Azure subscriptions

Exactly, Account Administrator: 1 per Azure account => an account may have a number of subscriptions but still have 1 Account administrator

Account Administrator == 1 per Azure account
Service Administrator == 1 per Azure subscription
Co-Administrator == 200 per subscription
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/rbac-and-directory-admin-roles
therefore : 1 st question is NO

"subscription" is the keyword
sbettani▲ 8Highly votedDecember 05, 2019 03:28 pm
The link says the opposite "In the Azure portal, you can manage Co-Administrators or view the Service Administrator by using the Classic administrators tab." there are three types of administrators.
"The account that is used to sign up for Azure is automatically set as both the Account Administrator and Service Administrator. Then, additional Co-Administrators can be added. "

if you have to take one thing to your grave, let it be this:
"resource groups do not contain subscriptions. Subscriptions contain resource groups.
there can only be one account administrator."
"resource groups do not contain subscriptions. Subscriptions contain resource groups.
there can only be one account administrator."

1) No, there can be only one Account Administrator per Azure Account (and it doesn't have access to the Azure Portal)
2) Yes (not 100% sure), you can use GitHub account to login, but I couldn't find anything from MS saying that you can manage subscription only with a GitHub account (which is owned by MS, so if you stretch it, that would be a MS account as well :) ) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/identity-provider-github
3) No, it is true the other way round

Regarding point 2. You can manage subscription using work/school account (azure ad account), not only Microsoft Account (previously known as LiveID).
