C. Azure Monitor
-- resources are azure resource

To correlate events from multiple resources into a centralized repository. Log data collected by Azure Monitor is stored in a Log Analytics workspace, which is based on Azure Data Explorer. It collects telemetry from a variety of sources and uses the Kusto query language used by Data Explorer to retrieve and analyze data.

Azure Monitor colltect Metrics and logs :
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/overview
Azure Events Hub collects Hubs :
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/event-hubs/event-hubs-about
Azure Event Hubs is a big data streaming platform and EVENT ingestion service. It can RECEIVE and process MILLIONS of EVENTS per second. Data sent to an event hub can be transformed and stored by using any real-time analytics provider or batching/storage adapters.
It's basically the definition of Azure Event Hubs.
Additional reasoning is that Azure Monitor collect ONLY application or infrastructure related logs (that can be events) wheareas Event Hubs can collect Business events. The question mentions only EVENTS in general.

I am surprised, some insisting the answer is Azure Monitor. Azure Monitor is for collecting metrics (telemetry info) like availability, ingress, egress, latency,.... But Event Hub could be compared to Kafka or RabittMq which is used for any events in the domain model. So the answer is correct.
Azure Monitor's purpose is monitoring health of your resources.

So NO. Answer is first Azure Events Hubs, and if not presents then we can suppose that Logs include Events so Azure Monitor but not the other order.

C. Came up in test.
Explanation
Azure Monitor maximizes the availability and performance of your applications and services by delivering a comprehensive solution for collecting, analyzing, and acting on telemetry from your cloud and on-premises environments.
All data collected by Azure Monitor fits into one of two fundamental types, metrics and logs.
Log data collected by Azure Monitor can be analyzed with queries to quickly retrieve, consolidate, and analyze collected data. You can create and test queries using Log Analytics in the Azure portal and then either directly analyze the data using different tools or save queries for use with visualization or alert rules.

Why there is no any mention about Azure Event Hubs in AZ-900 Learning Book? Only about Azure Monitor. That's why I don't like MS certification. Their books never cover all certification topics.

Lets hope this ridiculous question will not show up on my exam tomorrow. So vague & ambiguous, like they're doing it on purpose
