This is totally valid. Run the script from a computer that runs Chrome OS and uses Azure Cloud Shell to run Powershell scripts fo razure. Why doesn't meet the needs?

Many people think this is a trick question because you cannot install CLI onto Chrome OS. However, I think this question is way more straightforward. You can use Cloud Shell in the Chrome browser. This works on all OS. This question is being used to demonstrate that the Cloud Shell can run on all OS.

After Microsoft Learn : "Azure Cloud Shell is a browser-based scripting environment for command-line administration of Azure resources."
So you definitivly can use it with Chrome to match the goal

I have read all the comments and I believe everybody missed the point. The question states Chrome OS and not Chrome Web Browser.

Even if it is Chrome OS, you should be able to open a browser, navigate to Azure Portal and execute PowerShell scripts from Cloud Shell

It also doesn't say that the admin has a subscription, should we assume that he cannot access Azure then? ;-)

I think the answer should be "Yes".
1-Cloud Shell enables access to a browser-based command-line experience built with Azure management tasks in mind.
2-Users can choose between Bash or PowerShell from the shell dropdown.

The answer should YES. cos no matter the OS specification as long as you have a browser application installed. The azure portal(Cloudshell) gives you the liberty of running commands in Bash or Powershell environment. It also have all the modules need installed.

Azure Cloud Shell is an interactive, authenticated, browser-accessible shell for managing Azure resources. It provides the flexibility of choosing the shell experience that best suits the way you work, either Bash or PowerShell.

Please read the question and proposed solution again. Nowhere is being mentioned anything about installing powershell. CLOUD powershell version is proposed which implies a browser usage and that works on any OS.

But is a complicated question, because they mentioned Azure Cloud Shell and Azure CS is accessed from a Browser

Cloud Shell is intended for interactive use cases. As a result, any long-running non-interactive sessions are ended without warning so its No

I do not have a computer with Chrome OS, but I have this feeling that it might be running one of the supportet web-browsers ?
Cloud Shell supports the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.
I see no reason at all, that this should not be working from any OS running one of the supported browsers, an NO - You do not need powershell installed. It is installed in the cloud ;-)
